A handwritten letter in isiZulu on prison notepaper, sent from "V963 Petros M. Khize, Central Prison, Private Bag 45, Pretoria." It opens with the greeting "Nkosazane enhle" (Dear young lady). The reverse is addressed to "Miss Jumaima Mbele, 301 Zondi No. 2" and carries a Central Prison stamp, the prisoner number V963 in red, and a folded-envelope inscription. The full isiZulu text awaits translation.

The letter was written between December 1966 and September 1967 (written from Pretoria Central Prison during his imprisonment; the letter carries no legible date, so this is the period bracketed by his sentencing and execution)
