Statement by the African National Congress on negotiations as adopted by the National Executive Committee on 25 November 1992. Covers shifts in the balance of forces, negotiations, phases in the democratic revolution, goals of the National Liberation Struggle and immediate objectives, engaging the National Party, the need for a Government of National Unity, minimising the threat to stability and democracy, and reaching a negotiated settlement.
