Letter from Neville Curtis, President of NUSAS, reporting on the reason for opposition to the sale of "instruments of violence" to the Nationalist Government and various developments regarding the National Union of South African Students (NUSAS). These include the reaction and follow up to the statement made by NUSAS to the Commonwealth Students Conference held in Kumasi, Ghana, in January 1971, as well as the relationship between NUSAS and the South African Students Organisation and a description of recent attacks on NUSAS
