The Station Building, situate on a protion of the Farm Klipkraal 117 in the District of Bloemfontein. Situated on the Druenberg – Sannaspos inter-provincial secondary route, linking the Eastern Cape with the Free State. Aliwal North is 53 km from Dreunberg and the starting point for the currently disused Barkly East branch. There is a large Mill that brought in over 40 000 tons of grain during the 2005 – 2006 review period, the only traffic on the line. It was declared a National Monument under old NMC legislation on 30 May 1985.
