Situated on corner Henshall Street and Samora Machel Drive/N4, it is hard to imagine that what is today known as the Orion Hotel Promenade, used to be the town hall of Nelspruit. The town started out as a prime grazing area, for the cattle.

Hotel Promenade is located in the Lowveld region’s capital city, Nelspruit. Once the original town hall. This historic hotel is one of the town’s landmarks, with its stately tower overlooking the Promenade Shopping Centre and the Town Centre.
The hotel offers well-appointed and spacious accommodation with warm personal service, and genuine local hospitality. Some of the features of the hotel include an inviting pub, a full-service restaurant and swimming pool.
Hotel Promenade is located 30 minutes from the Kruger National Park gate and is strategically located close to the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport.
