Frans “Ting Ting” Masango

Frans “Ting Ting” Masango grew up in Mamelodi, Tswane.  His mother was a domestic worker and his father was an employee at a construction company.  Masango had a good academic record which was interrupted by the 1976 student uprising.  He played an active role in the uprising.
