Blue Lodge Hotel, 206-208 Long Street, Cape Town

This impressive building was erected at the turn of the 19th century and forms an important part of the architectural character of Long Street, one of the few streets of Cape Town whose outlook over the years has remained largely untouched. It was declared a National Monument under old NMC legislation on 23 December 1962.
