Get map picture from hands on history ‘map.htm’

1. Fill in the names of the provinces on the map.

2. Which pieces on the map are not parts of South Africa?

3. What are they called?

4. What happened to the homelands after 1993?

Activity

Do a project on your province. Look for pictures of things that are an important part of your province’s heritage, for example:

· Buildings

· People

· natural landmarks

· events

In a few sentences, write what each thing is and why it is important.
