Letter to the Secretary, Van der Walt, Commission of Inquiry into the Consolidation of the Ciskei from representatives of various churches (Anglican, Catholic, Congregational, Lutheran, Methodist and Presbyterian)in the Ciskei. The letter is an urgent request to the commission to stop the wholesale removal of black people from their long-standing places of residences. The letter also stresses the negative socio-economic impact on black people caused by the government's resettlement programmes.
