Sadly the building burnt down some years ago and is presently in ruins but then this Church was reconstructed on its present site in 1967. It was originally built in 1871 as a result of the efforts of John Pilkington Richardson and is one of the oldest Anglican Churches in the Transvaal. It was declared a National Monument under old NMC legislation on 24 November 1972.
