A resettlement camp in a homeland

Inhabitants of Ekuvukene, a "resettlement" village in what was the black "homeland" called KwaZulu in Natal. Millions of black South Africans were forcibly moved to such villages during the last 30 years of apartheid. Such resettlement villages became a dumping ground for women and children, the sick and elderly and anyone else deemed unnecessary to the white economy.
