Shashi Naidoo, the South African television host, presenter, model and actress is born

Shashi Naidoo was born in Port Elisabeth[i] on 4 November 1980. She is South African actress, television personality and model.[ii] Shashi co-hosted the magazine show 20Something, as well as the MTV VJ Search.[iii] Her breakthrough acting role was the role of Linda McGinty who was Ziggy’s girlfriend on the soap opera Backstage. Shashi also had a minor role in another soap opera Generations, and another limited series called Society in 2007. She took on the role of Sureshni Patel in Egoli in 2008.[iv] Shashi is a model and brand ambassador for numerous South African and international brands.
