Riky Rick, one of the most esteemed South African hip hop artists is born

Rikhado Makhado, stage name Riky Rick, was born in the KwaMashu township of northern Durban, KwaZulu Natal on 20 July 1987.[i] He is a South African musician, music producer and actor. Ricky Rick is produces his own unique sound by harmonizing a blend of South African hip hop and kwaito.[ii] Riky Rick attended The South African School of Motion Picture Medium and Live Performance, where he studied film production.[iii] His single “Nafukwa” gained broad recognition throughout South Africa.
