Bishop Zulu is born

Alphaeus Hamilton Zulu, Anglican bishop of Zululand and Swaziland was born in Nquthu, Natal. He was the only son of Johannes and Miriam Kolo Zulu and was a member of the Zulu Royal Dynasty. In the early 1960s he was elected president of the World Council of Churches (WCC). Zulu died in Ulundi, KwaZulu on 29 February 1988. References Sonderling, N.E. (ed.) (1999).
