Ashley is a senior at Southern Methodist University. As a Creative Writing major who also dabbles in visual art, she wants to one day produce graphic novels.  Her main interests include food/cooking, fashion design, fiction writing, drawing, and African/African-American history and culture.

Christine is a senior at Southern Methodist University studying Advertising and Psychology. She grew up in Connecticut and visited South Africa a few times which sparked her interest in learning more about its history. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading and drawing.

Tristan is a third year student at Southern Methodist University studying History. He is from Lost Altos Hills, California and likes spending his time with his dogs or playing sports.

Virginia Boswell

Virginia is a third year History major and Fashion Media minor at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. Her area of interest is 20th Century European history and Fashion PR. She writes for a college fashion website and hopes to one day work in the Smithsonian in Washington D.C. Her interests include reading, art, cooking, and horseback riding.

Andrew is a junior at Southern Methodist University, studying History and Sports Management. He is a native of Houston, Texas. He thoroughly enjoys watching soccer, football, and basketball. Aside from his studies, Andrew works for the SMU basketball team.

David Codron

David is currently pursuing his Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a focus on Markets and Culture and a minor in Business. Almost halfway through his third year, David is scheduled to graduate May 2014. David’s life has been shaped by an international background, spending eleven years in Asia between the ages of three and fourteen, as well as having bilingual parents who grew up in Africa. Studying the world and other peoples’ culture is David’s greatest passion and David has been fortunate to have had the opportunity to travel to many different countries in his short, twenty one year lifetime.

Gianna is a senior at Southern Methodist University, majoring in History with minors in political science and Business. Spent the spring semester of my junior year living in Italy and traveling Europe.
