The 33rd lecture in the Alfred and Winifred Hoernle Memorial lecture series delivered by Alan Paton in Johannesburg on 23rd May 1985, in which he believes that South Africa should move towards forming a federal constitution and that the" Verwoerdian Utopia has fallen to pieces"; he also challenges the State President to give the people of KwaZulu and Natal an opportunity to embark on a multi-racial regional government.
