An African view of the present urban and industrial situation in South Africa

The accelerated pace of industrialisation affected all population groups in South Africa, particularly the African population and it resulted in the movement of Blacks into the cities at an unprecedented scale. This report examines the social and economic consequences of the change in the urban and industrial situation.
