Wesleyan Methodist Mission Station 2 km South-West of Middledrift. Established in 1853 for the Xhosa under Chief William Kama by Rev. William Shaw, and named after his wife Ann. The Xhosa name of the Mission Station is KwaKama, Kama's place.
