Monday 14^th March, 6 for 6.30pm – Launch of The Sword and the Pen: Six Decades on the Political Frontier by Allister Sparks
Veteran journalist Allister Sparks has spent 60 years at the heart of South African politics. He will be here to talk about his memoir. Allister will be in conversation with John Maytham.

Tuesday 15^th March, 5.30 for 6pm – Launch of The Story of a House: Fables & Feasts from La Creuzette by Louis Jansen van Vuuren and Hardy Oliver
Both a cookbook and the story of the restoration of the beautiful Château de la Creuzette in France.  Also available in Afrikaans. More here.

Wednesday 16th March, 5.30 for 6pm - Launch of Flame in the Snow: The Love Letters of André Brink and Ingrid Jonker
This collection of intimate letters chronicles the passionate affair between two great South African writers.
Breyten Breytenbach will facilitate a discussion with Karina Brink, Simone Venter, Francis Galloway and Karin Schimke.

The limited edition (only 1000 printed) will be available in English and Afrikaans at 20% discount on the evening. More here.

Thursday 17th March, 5.30 for 6pm - Launch of a new edition of The Eye of the Needle by Richard Turner
Turner was a central figure in the white South African student movement, and a key figure in the radicalisation of its critical project. This reissue of his classic The Eye of the Needle is still relevant in South Africa today.
Tony Morphet, Halton Cheadle, Premesh Lalu and Rosalind Morris will be in conversation. More here.
