Welgelegen is a working Farm nestled in the Valleys of the Bottelary Hills just outside of Stellenbosch. This Farm with its Vineyards , Proteas and Fynbos has been in the Bonthuys family for many Years. It offers various activities for those that wish to escape the hustle and bustle of their daily routines. The Farm offers a variety of outdoor activities, including Bass Fishing, Mountain Biking, Hiking Trails, Paintball, 4x4 Trails, and Camping facilities. 4x4 Trails are open 7 days a Week, (weather dependent). By booking only. Four vehicles minimum. +- 9 km long Trail with halfway stop on one of the highest Koppies along Bottelary, with amazing Views. Estimated time to complete loop is 2-3 Hours, depending how many vehicles etc. Basic Toilet and Braai Facilities are availible.
