Victorian dwellings, 135-137 Hatfield Street, Gardens

This row, of Double-storey Semi-detached Residences is presumed to have been erected in 1881 as part of a speculative Housing Development scheme. The land was originally part of the Farm Welgedaan which had been allocated to Gerrit Vreeburg in 1707. It was declared a National Monument under old NMC Legislation on 23 September 1988.
