The House was Erected at the turn of the 19th Century and is one of the earliest Structures to have been Built in Belvedere Avenue, itself an Architecturally significant Area in this Suburb. It boasts a number of fine Architectural features, and was declared a National Monument under old NMC Legislation on 21 September 1984.
