St. Saviours Church is at the Corner of Bowwood and Main Roads in Claremont, Cape Town, South Africa. St. Saviours has stood on its present Site since 1854 and has immense Historical value. The nucleus of this neo-Gothic church was designed and erected by Sophia Gray in 1850. The bell tower, the two bays for the nave, and the north-west porch were added subsequently, in honour of Bishop Gray and his wife Sophia, who died in 1872 and 1871 respectively. Further additions were made in 1903 and 1953. It was declared a National Monument under old NMC legislation on 31 December 1981.

The Cemetery is next to and controlled by the St Saviours Anglican Church, which is situated at the Intersection of Main Road and Bowwood Street in the Suburb of Claremont. The 1914-1918 Commonwealth War Grave is in the Cemetery itself, and the 1939-1945 Commonwealth War Grave (ashes buried marked by Private Memorial) is in the adjacent Garden of Remembrance.
