'Abbervlaack', a Railway Station in the Northern Cape

Railway Station some 34 km from Port Nolloth. It takes its name from the surrounding plain, known as Abbevlak. The name is derived from the Khoikhoi name of Sagewood trees, which cover this area. The word 'vlakte' is Afrikaans for flat plain.
