Oral interview with Sibongile Mthembu Mkhabela, conducted by a third year class in African Politics, University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg. The interviewee, nee Sibongile Susan Mthembu, was a leader in the Soweto Students Representative Council at the time of the 1976 Soweto uprising. She subsequently was a defendant in the trial of the "Soweto 11" and was jailed for two years. Answers have been transcribed verbatim, but questions were partially inaudible on the tape, and thus are not verbatim
