Tinashe Washington Nengomasha, Zimbabwean international football player is born in Harare, Zimbabwe

Although Tinashe Nengomasha had been in the Zimbabwean under 20 National team, he was basically unknown until he joined Kaizer Chiefs as a midfielder, a position that earned him the nickname ‘The General’. He is seen as Chiefs’ best player during the 2003/2004 season, the season that saw them win the PSL league title. Nengomasha has won several awards since he joined Kaizer Chiefs, including the PSL ‘Footballer of the Year’ for the 2003/2004 season and the ‘Player’s Player of the Season’ 2003/2004. He was also the winner of Kick Off Magazine’s ‘Soccer Player of the Season’ 2003/2004.
