South Africans commemorated Nelson Mandela with a day of prayer

Millions of South Africans attended church services   where a national day of prayer took place to honour the memory of Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela  and pray for the future of South Africa following the death of Mandela, the country’s first black president. South Africans of all races mourned the death of Nelson Mandela with an outpouring of prayers from churches all over the country. President Jacob Zuma attended a service together with Winnie Madikizela - Mandela at the Bryanston Methodist Church in Johannesburg to celebrate the life of Nelson Mandela.
