A resolution calling for Africans countrywide to stay at home, in protest against the Unlawful Organisations Act, is taken in Durban

Africans made a unanimous resolution for a “National Day of Mourning and Protest” on which Africans countrywide would be ordered to stay at home. The resolution was taken during a rally held in Durban on 28 May 1950.
