Maluzi Gigaba is born

This Day in History: 30 August 1971
South Africa's youngest cabinet member and deputy minister of home affairs, Malusi Knowledge Nkanyedzi Gigaba, was born in Eshowe, Natal. Gigaba was appointed deputy minister by president Thabo Mbeki after the 2004 general elections.
