Thesis has been submitted for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the Department of Political Science, University of Natal, Durban, 1998. According to the author, his study uses the theoretical basis of writings of Lennin and Gramsci on revolutionary theory and praxis; and researches the policies, aims, memberships and structure and practices of the United Democratic Front, and the affiliate political organisations during the period, 1983-1987.
