The African National Congress, South Africans and the world at large continues to mourn the passing the Isithwalandwe/Seaparankoe Comrade Nelson Mandela. The ANC expresses its sincere gratitude to every person who observed the National Day of Prayer and Reflection today. From tomorrow, 9 December 2013, the African National Congress shall set out Condolence Books at the ANC Headquarters, Chief Albert Luthuli House, all ANC Provincial, Regional and Parliamentary Constituency Offices as well as the Headquarters of the Alliance Partners of our glorious movement - South African Communist Party (SACP), Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU) and the South African National Civic Organisation (SANCO)-for members of the public to leave their tributes for Madiba, his family and our nation. The Condolence Books shall be laid out from 09h00 in the morning.
The coming week shall also see the commencement of ANC Provincial Memorial Services in honour of Madiba in all nine provinces of our country. These memorial services shall be addressed by leaders of the African National Congress and various leaders coming from our fraternal organisations that shall be in South Africa to console and support the Mandela Family and South Africans during this difficult time. Details of the deployments shall be issued in due course. The dates of the Memorial Services are as follows:
