Victor M Mgadi was a political activist with the African National Congress(ANC) during the uprising agaisnt the Apartheid regime. He was also an Umkhonto we Sizwe (also known as MK) operative, Umkhonto we Sizwe which means "spear of the nation" was the armed wing of the ANC. The establishment of this wing led to the ANC being branded as a terrorist organization. The killing of such members were often covered up by secret burials, a later inquest lead to the exhuming of up to 50 bodies. The Commission however could not complete this task, as it was lenghty and expensive.
Victor M Mgadi, according to the Nelson Mandela Foundation was "buried under the name Victor Mokagetla (grave 802) from Thandokukhanya cementry, Piet Retief on May 6,1997".
