Peter Engblom

He is a descendant of the original Scandinavian Missionaries who evangelised Zululand a century and a half ago. Of Lapp descent he was born on a sugar plantation and, after matriculating in Zululand, he studied photography at the Bavarian State Educational Institute for Photography before returning to Zululand.

In 1997 he created a CD-ROM about Zululand and the Zulu people entitled A Land called Heaven, available on the website www.cdromshop.com. He has held a number of one person exhibitions and has participated in various group exhibitions in this country. His work is represented in public collections in SA. Currently he lectures in FA at the D.I.T.
