Moepadira Mphahlele was the Acting Chief of the Mphahlele community in the Northern Transvaal. He was banished from Pietersburg District, Northern Transvaal [now Polokwane, Limpopo Province]to Msinga, Natal [now KwaZulu-Natal] on 19 February 1953.
His order was withdrawn on 18 September 1962.
