The Historic Homestead of the Farm Totteridge Park, situate on Portion 55, a portion of Portion 10 of the Farm Zwartkops, River Wagensdrift 567, Municipality of Despatch, Division of Uitenhage.

The T-plan Double Storey Farm House dates from approximately 1780 and is presumed to have been built by Gerrit van Rooyen. Over the years an expanding needs of its Residents have required at least two extensions to the original structure, thus losing some of its original appearance as a Cape Dutch home.
