Steve ‘The Black Meteor’ Mokone died in Washington D.C on 20 March 2015. He would go to be one of the most recognized South African in the world because of his mark he made in football outside of our borders. Before his departure in 21 October1955 to Coventry City in England, He was given words of encouragement by Dr Willie Nkomo and Dr Peter Tsele of the African National Congress.
