Steynsrus, Free State Province

The Town was established in 1910. Directly translated from Afrikaans; it would mean Steyn's Rest! The beautiful sand stone Church was well placed at the end of Van Riebeek street, in the centre of this Historic Town. (This was needed for the Boer Folk to come worship.) The corner stone to this NG Church, was laid in 1911 and a new one built in 1928.
