A 21 year old security guard employed at the Dolphin Beach complex in Table View, Luyanda Mboniswa, was charged with robbing, raping and murder of Marike de Klerk, ex-wife of former president F.W. de Klerk in December 2001. Mrs de Klerk's belongings, a wristwatch and two torches, were found at the Mboniswa's squatter shack in Khayelitsha, Cape Town.
