Thato Madonsela, the South African rapper is born

Thato Madonsela, stage name L-Tido was born in Alexandra, Gauteng on 30 January 1982. He is one of the few independent hip hop artists in South Africa.[i] L-Tido released his first mixtape “City of Gold” in 2009, for which he received the “Most Gifted Newcomer” award at the Channel O awards in 2010.[ii] The mixtape also included the diss track “Black Suit” aimed at South African rapper AKA.[iii] He released his debut album independently titled “All or Nothing” in 2011, which included the hit song “We Rollin”.
