22 December 1996
Zimbabwe and England drew in in a Bulawayo Test Cricket match on 22 December 1996. England was the favorites to win the game and came close several times. However, they failed to secure a win in the end. Commentators branded the match unexciting and blamed mediocre seam bowling on both sides. England was more disappointed with the draw as they only needed one run to win. They finished on 204 for 5, just one run short of the 205 that they needed.
