The World Campaign against Military and Nuclear Collaboration is launched

On 28 March 1979, The World Campaign against Military and Nuclear Collaboration with South Africa was launched in Oslo, Norway. The initiative enjoyed the support of the United Nations (UN) Special Committee against Apartheid. Several Heads of State and government were its patrons and Ambassador Abdul Samad Minty was the Director.
