South African right handed batsman, Jonathan Neil Rhodes was born in Pietermaritzburg, Natal Province (now known as Kwazulu Natal) on 27 July 1969. Better known as “Jonty”, his diving run-out of Pakistani’s Inzamam-ul-Haq during the 1992 World Cup earn him a glorious place in the world of cricket.
