Manne Dipico resigns from parliament

Former Northern Cape Premier and President Thabo Mbeki's parliamentary advisor, Manne Dipico, resigned from the National Assembly to concentrate his effort on the upcoming local elections scheduled for 1 March 2006. Dipico was to head the national election machinery of the African National Congress (ANC) in preparation for the municipal elections.
