Former South Africa national rugby team Captain, Gary Teichmann, was born in Gwelo, Zimbabwe. Teichmann showed his leadership qualities when was appointed captain of the Natal Sharks by Ian McIntosh. He captained the national team 36 times out of 42 games he played.
